For more than 15 years Michele Dahl Sturkie has been a dedicated attorney specializing in family law including divorce, child custody, visitation, child support and adoptions. Michele is dedicated to her clients needs, using empathy and compassion to advocate for her clients.
Michele is a class of 1988 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Cabrini College. After nearly ten years working for as a litigation paralegal for the U.S. Army, the State of Utah, and at private law firms in Utah and South Carolina, she continued her education at the University of South Carolina School of Law where she graduated with her Juris Doctor in 2002. Michele was named the Harvey L. Golden Domestic Relations Student Lawyer of the year in 2001. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar association, the Florence County Bar Association, South Carolina Association for Justice and the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association. Additionally she serves as a Guardian Ad Litem in private custody cases.
Before opening her own practice Michele spent more than a decade working for several firms in the Florence, South Carolina area. She is well respected and seen as a leader in the practice of family law. Michele practiced under the name “Michele R. Krize” until December 2015, when she married Wayne Sturkie.
